When should you use an integration tool instead?
When both apps are supported and the rule is fixed: "when a form is submitted, add a row to the sheet and send a Slack message". An integration does that in seconds, every time, for very little money. An AI agent would be slower and cost more for the same result.
When does an AI browser agent do what the others cannot?
- The site has no integration. Supplier portals, government and licensing forms, job boards, directories and most small-business software only offer a web page. A browser agent works on the page itself, signed in as you.
- The step needs reading. "Find companies in Texas hiring a controller, and skip the staffing agencies" needs someone to read each listing. That is what the AI is for.
