For B2B founders and sales teams
An AI lead generation agent for B2B
An AI lead generation agent finds companies that match your ideal customer on live websites, checks each one for a reason to reach out now, and hands you a researched list with a drafted first note. Vassal Agent does this in your own browser, with your own logins, and waits for your approval before any message goes out.
What a lead generation agent actually does
Good B2B prospecting is a chain of small browser tasks. An agent is useful when it runs the whole chain, not one link of it:
- Find companies that match your criteria, from directories, search results, job boards, marketplaces, event lists or community pages.
- Qualify each one against the things that matter to you: size, location, stack, recent hiring, funding, a page that mentions the problem you solve.
- Find the person who owns the problem, from the company's team page or other public profiles you can see.
- Find a reason to write now: a new role posted, a launch, a recent post, a change on their site.
- Draft a short first note that uses that reason, and wait for your approval to send it.
Vassal Agent does each step in a real browser and returns a table with a link for every fact, so you can check any row before you act on it.
Examples you can type
"Find 30 companies in Miami hiring a head of sales. List the founder, the job link and when it was posted."
"Go through this conference's sponsor list. Keep B2B software companies under 200 people and find the VP of marketing for each."
"Check these 40 agency websites and tell me which ones don't list a case study page. Draft a note to the owner of each."
"Every morning, check these five communities for new posts asking for a recommendation in our category, and send me the links."
Buying signals it can check
- Hiring: new roles on a careers page or job board, which often signal budget and a new owner of a problem.
- Funding and launches: announcements on the company's site, blog or press page.
- Changes: a new pricing page, a new location, a new product line, detected by watching a page.
- Intent in public: posts asking for recommendations in groups and communities you belong to.
- Gaps: things missing from a site that your service fixes, checked page by page.
Where an agent beats a lead database, and where it does not
| Browser agent | Lead database | |
|---|---|---|
| Freshness | Reads the live page when you ask | As fresh as the last crawl |
| Custom criteria | Anything visible on a page | The fields the vendor tracks |
| Sources | A link for every fact | Usually none |
| Volume and speed | Tens to hundreds of rows per run | Thousands of rows in seconds |
| Verified emails and phones | Only what is published, or what your own tools return | Usually included |
Many teams use both: a database for the broad list, and an agent to research, qualify and write to the accounts that matter.
Keeping outreach clean
An agent that can send messages can also send bad ones fast. Vassal Agent is built so that it cannot: every send, post and form submission stops for approval, you can add rules such as "Never press Send on linkedin.com", and every action is written to an activity log you can read. It works at a human pace inside your own accounts and does not get around rate limits or bot checks. Our acceptable use policy forbids spam and unsolicited bulk messages.
What it costs
$499 a month or $4,990 a year, including a private setup call and one custom workflow built for your business in the first month. It runs on your own AI plan, such as Claude Pro at $20 a month, so there are no per-lead or per-credit charges from us.
Questions
What is an AI lead generation agent?
It is software that uses an AI model to do prospecting work on its own: searching sites for companies or people that fit your criteria, reading their pages, qualifying them, and preparing outreach. The best ones show their sources and let you approve anything that is sent.
How is this different from a lead database?
A database sells you rows it collected earlier. An agent reads live pages when you ask, so it can check things a database does not track, like a job post from this morning or a line on a pricing page, and it tells you where each fact came from. It is slower and better for a focused list than for bulk volume.
Will it send cold emails for me?
It drafts them and stops. Each send waits for you to press Allow. It does not run bulk sequences, and our acceptable use policy forbids spam and unsolicited bulk messages.
Which sites can it use?
Any site you can use in a normal browser, including ones you sign in to, as long as that site's terms allow it. You sign in yourself; the agent works inside your session.
Can it put leads into my CRM?
Yes, through the CRM's own web app, field by field, or by exporting a spreadsheet or Google Sheet you import. It can stop before saving so you can check each record.
