Vassal Agent is a desktop AI browser agent for Mac: a browser with an AI agent built in. You type a job in plain words, and it does the searching, reading, copying and form-filling in your own signed-in browser, then stops and asks before it sends, posts, pays or deletes anything.
It adapts to the business it works for. Tell it in a sentence, or give it your website, and it learns what you do, who you serve and how you like things written. Its jobs, drafts and suggestions follow from that, and it keeps learning as you correct it.

What Vassal Agent does
Most of the work in a small business happens in a browser: searching sites and directories, reading profiles, copying details into a sheet, filling in forms, checking a page every morning, writing the first message to someone new. Vassal Agent does that work for you. You describe the job the way you would to an assistant, and it opens the pages, reads them and brings back the result, usually as a table with sources.
- Research and lists. Find companies, people or listings that match what you describe, and return a clean table with links.
- Outreach drafts. Write a first note to each person on the list, in your voice, and wait for you to approve each send.
- Forms and data entry. Fill in applications, CRM records and portals, and stop at the Submit button.
- Monitoring. Watch a page, a job board or an inbox and tell you when something changes.
- Repeatable workflows. Do a job once while it watches, and it becomes a workflow you can run by hand, on a schedule or when a trigger fires.
Results can be copied as a table, saved as a spreadsheet, sent to Google Sheets or emailed.
How it works
Vassal Agent is a desktop app with three parts in one window: a real Chromium browser, an assistant panel, and a governor that checks every action the agent takes against your rules before it happens.
- You sign in to your sites yourself, once, in the app's browser. Your cookies and passwords stay on your computer.
- You connect your AI. The assistant runs on your own Claude plan, or you connect another AI tool.
- You type a job. The agent works in your browser while a live panel shows every page it opens and everything it reads.
- It asks before anything leaves. Before it sends, posts, submits, pays or deletes, it stops and shows you what it is about to do. Nothing happens until you press Allow.

Who it is for
Vassal Agent is for the person who owns the result: a founder, an owner, a partner, anyone who knows exactly what needs doing and loses hours to the clicking in between. It is not built for one industry. It learns yours, whether that is recruiting, an agency, sales or something else, and fits the jobs to how your business works. Recruiters, B2B lead generation and agencies are worked examples.
It is a poor fit if your work does not happen in a browser, if you need a phone-calling assistant, or if you want an AI that acts with no human in the loop.

One plan: $499 a month, or $4,990 a year (two months free). It includes unlimited jobs in your own browser, a private setup call, one custom workflow built for your business in the first month, same-day support from a person, and use on two computers. Your AI plan is separate. Claude Pro, $20 a month from Anthropic, is enough for most people.
Privacy
The app has no analytics or telemetry. Your browsing, logins, chats with the assistant and activity log stay on your computer. The page content the AI reads to do a job goes to your AI provider under your own account; we never receive it. Details are in the privacy policy.
