This policy explains what Vassal Cleaning LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"), collects through the Vassal Agent app and website. Short version: your browsing, logins and conversations stay on your computer. The app has no analytics or telemetry, and we do not sell your personal information.

What stays on your computer

Your browsing history, cookies and logins, your chats with the assistant, your workflows and the activity log are stored locally on your computer. We do not receive them. Deleting the app's data removes them.

What we receive

• License checks. When you activate the app, it sends your license key and your computer's name and operating system to our payment provider's license server, which returns an instance id. About once a day the app sends the key and that id to confirm your subscription is active. We use this only to run licensing.
• Subscription records. Our payment provider shares with us your name, email, country, subscription status and purchase history. We never see your full card number.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep the email and your address to answer you.

Who else receives data

• Your AI provider. Your prompts, and the page content the AI reads to do a task, go to your AI provider (such as Anthropic) under your own account and that provider's terms and privacy policy. We do not receive them.
• Our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record. It processes your name, email, billing address and card details under its own privacy policy.
• GitHub. The app checks GitHub for updates and downloads installers from it. GitHub sees your IP address and basic request details under its privacy statement.
• Vercel. This website is hosted on Vercel, which may keep standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested.
• The websites you visit, as with any browser, under their own policies.
• Authorities or successors, if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in a merger or sale of the business.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies

This website has no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. Cookies stored by the app belong to the sites you visit and stay on your computer.

Why we use data

We use the little we receive to provide and license the Service, bill and support you, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal and tax duties. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing the Service, and legal obligations.

Retention

We keep subscription and license records while your subscription is active and afterward only as long as needed for tax, accounting, legal and dispute purposes. We keep support emails as long as needed to help you and then delete them. Our payment provider, GitHub and Vercel keep data under their own policies.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards for the data we hold. Data on your computer is protected by your computer's own security, so keep it locked and up to date. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold about you, or object to or restrict its use, by emailing hello@vassalagent.com. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. People in the EU, UK and similar places have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to their data protection authority. We will verify your request, usually by confirming the email on your subscription, and respond within the time the law requires. Some records must be kept for legal reasons.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and data we receive is processed there. Where the law requires, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for transfers.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for material changes, give notice by email or in the app.
